Superficially very similar to Inonotus with brown, thin, bracket-like, poroid fruiting bodies, but fruiting bodies of Cyclomyces are much thinner and more flexible than those of Inonotus.
A single common species in New Zealand.

Cyclomyces tabacinus

Common species with brown thin, flexible fruiting bodies to 8 cm across, often in groups, on wood of a range of native and introduced trees. Often with concentric pattern of brown hairs on upper surface; lower surface brown and with tiny pores.
